Notes from the Program Chair
Welcome to the 2009-2010 Season!
Another summer has passed and the ASQ Event calendar is filling up quickly. We have a very exciting season planned for everyone, and hope to “change things up” a little bit this year.
Our first event will be held at the venerable Scott’s Seafood Restaurant in Jack London Square on September 24th. The illustrious Bikash Chatterjee will deliver the first presentation. Please be sure to attend as he is one of the finest speakers the ASQ has ever had the pleasure of hosting.
We will follow this event in Mid-October with a casual networking and social mixer at the Pyramid Ale House in Berkeley. This will be an opportunity for everyone to kick back, eat some finger food, and toss back a few fantastic house brews (or whatever else you like to drink). The social networking events are always a great success, and provide a fantastic opportunity to introduce yourself to the group, and find out what is “brewing” with the membership (I couldn’t resist the pun).
We have quite a few new board members this year, and everyone seems eager to pitch in and help make this a productive and eventful season. We hope you make it to every event, and encourage others to come along.
